About the role
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Manager to join the AWS team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and building strategic relationships with enterprise customers across Nigeria. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop account strategies, identify new business opportunities, and help customers accelerate their cloud adoption journey.
The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 10 years of front line sales experience, with a significant portion of that tenure spent at a multinational, tier 1 technology vendor (e.g. hyperscale cloud, enterprise software, or infrastructure). You will have a demonstrable track record of managing complex, long cycle enterprise deals, with sales cycles of 12 months or more and contract values in the multi million dollar range. Experience navigating multi stakeholder procurement processes, building executive level relationships, and closing strategic agreements is essential.
We are looking for someone with high energy, a genuine passion to succeed, and the resilience to operate in a fast moving, high growth market. You should thrive in ambiguity, be comfortable building pipeline from the ground up, and bring an ownership mentality to everything you do. A deep understanding of the Nigerian enterprise landscape, particularly financial services, is highly desirable.
